Overview
Post-Bruen, D.C. operates as shall-issue. However, the extremely high density of federal property, monuments, and restricted zones makes practical carry very difficult. Training required. Registration of all firearms required. Magazine limit: 10 rounds. Assault weapon ban. D.C. is not a state but is included because it has its own carry laws distinct from Maryland and Virginia.
