Overview
Post-Bruen, New Jersey converted to shall-issue but immediately enacted extensive 'sensitive places' legislation. Effectively the most restrictive carry state in the nation alongside California. Hollow-point ammunition restricted for carry (legal at home and range). Magazine limit: 10 rounds. Assault weapon ban. Carry permits require extensive training, insurance considerations, and multiple references. No open carry.
