Overview
Constitutional carry effective July 1, 2023. Concealed carry without a permit is legal. However, open carry remains illegal in Florida — one of only a few constitutional carry states that bans open carry. Must inform law enforcement during any official encounter. Optional CWFL still available and recommended for reciprocity.
